Who are the Departed Souls?
The souls of all the dead, those both Christian and not who are now in the hands of God and at his mercy. The Departed Souls include the holiest of saints and the worst of sinners, just as humanity does upon earth. Recognizing that the death of the body is not the end of life, we know that these souls live on, in a state that is commensurate to the state their soul was at the time of their death.
What is the Departed Souls Society?
We are a volunteer group of local chapters dedicated to providing a community for prayer for all departed souls, especially those in purgatory, believing all souls are worthy of remembrance and bringing them to mind as brothers and sisters in Christ. We offer up all souls in prayer in the hopes that they may receive graces to pray for the church upon earth.

Upcoming Events
All of our events are open to the public and free of charge. We welcome everyone to join us in remembering our departed loved ones.
Join us for our upcoming events and gatherings, where we come together to remember and honor those who have departed. From vigils to group rosaries in cemeteries, there are a variety of opportunities to volunteer your time.
Our Podcast
In development
We are contemplating creating a podcast where we research the lives of forgotten Catholic individuals of note, from priests, notable religous or lay people. Individual chapters can create their own episodes and upload episodes on local individuals from their area.
